We appreciate it when a guest offers to assist or provide moral support to a student during the Open Water Course. However, guest divers are not welcome to participate or assist in any part of the SDI, TDI, IANTD, PDIC & SEI Open Water Diver Course. It is not recommended for certified divers to dive with students during training dives for myriad reasons. One reason is that guests are not licensed or insured to teach the SDI, IANTD, TDI, PDIC, & SEI Open Water Course. By assisting they place themselves and the instructor in an unfavorable litigious position. The Aquatech Scuba Schools AND its instructors reserve the right to refuse service to anyone.
ABSENCES AND MAKEUP FEES
A schedule is agreed upon between student and school before classes begin. Aquatech Scuba Schools and its instructors are obligated to meeting said schedule. However, if a student is absent from a class session, pool dive or ocean dive for whatever reason, Aquatech Scuba Schools cannot and will not be responsible for any makeup fees that may be incurred. Many diving classes are sequential. You can’t go to the ocean without first completing all of the pool sessions. Nor can Aquatech Scuba Schools or its Instructors guarantee rescheduling. Some courses are seasonal while others run once a year. We understand people are busy and that finding the time to reschedule may be difficult but If you are planning on completing a course that centers around life and death situations before that big trip to Fiji next week – you will have to show up to class or forfeit your training fees.
